Criw bach o beleton YGY oedd allan ar y lon yn ystod cymal #17 ond doedd dim prinder o gyffro. Unwaith eto, y frwydr rhwng Owain Watts a Rhys Davies oedd yr uchafbwynt gyda'r ddau yn gwrthdaro fel Thomas a Froome yn y mynyddoedd. Tro Davies oedd hi, heddiw, i gipio deg pwynt am bellter a dringo, ac ef sy nol yn y crys smotiog gyda pedwar cymal ar ol. Mi fydd Watts ar ei olwyn yfori, yn sicr. A small group of YGY's eleton took to the road on stage #17 but there was no lack of excitement. Once more, the battle between Owain Watts and Rhys Davies was the highlight with both riders clashing like Thomas and Froome in the mountains. It was Davies's turn on to today, claiming 10 points for distance and elevation and he returns to the polka-dot jersey with four days to go. Watts will definitely be back on his wheel tomorrow. Nicholas Fisk-Jones continued his successful return to the saddle after a frustrating second week.
